PlaceBet KYC Verification Process
PlaceBet uses KYC checks to confirm who you are, where you live, and that the payment method belongs to you. The review happens inside the account area and blocks certain actions until PlaceBet approves the files.
- Identity (ID/Passport): PlaceBet requests verification when you open an account and again before the first withdrawal, or if your details change (name, date of birth). Upload a clear photo or scan of a passport or national ID card; PlaceBet checks full name, date of birth, document number, expiry date, and your photo. The file must be in colour, uncropped, and readable in one frame (or both sides for an ID card).
- Address proof: PlaceBet requests proof of address before withdrawals, after a change of address, or if a compliance flag triggers a review (for example, a mismatch between IP location and registered country). Accepted documents include a utility bill, bank statement, or government letter showing your full name and residential address, dated within the last 90 days. Screenshots and edited PDFs get rejected; PlaceBet asks for the full page with the issuer name and date visible.
- Payment method: PlaceBet asks for payment verification before the first withdrawal and whenever you add a new card or wallet. For bank cards, PlaceBet typically requires a photo of the card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits, your name, and the expiry date, with the middle digits covered; the CVV must be hidden. If you used an e-wallet, PlaceBet requests a screenshot of the wallet profile page showing your name and the email/ID that matches the PlaceBet account.
Review time in PlaceBet is commonly 15 minutes to 24 hours after upload. If the images are blurry, cropped, expired, or the details don’t match the account, the check extends to 48–72 hours because PlaceBet requests resubmission.
Once PlaceBet approves KYC, deposits and gameplay continue as normal, and withdrawals process without a KYC hold unless you change personal details or switch to a new payment method.
